Job Description

- Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the development team, translating business needs into product requirements.
- Define the product vision, goals, and roadmap in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Create and prioritize the product backlog to ensure the development team focuses on the most impactful features and improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and UX/UI designers, to deliver high-quality product increments.
Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure efficient and effective development cycles.
Ensure product requirements and user stories are well-defined and understood by the development team.
- Monitor product performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive product evolution.
- Actively manage risk and dependencies to ensure successful delivery of product releases.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to inform product strategy.
- Provide clear communication to stakeholders regarding project status, upcoming releases, and roadmap adjustments.

Qualifications

- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role within the tech or software development industry.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies; a Scrum Product Owner certification (e.g., CSPO, PSPO) is a plus.
- Proficient in both English and Mandarin.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and product lifecycle management (PLM).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to balance business priorities with technical constraints effectively.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or other Agile project management platforms.
- A strong user-focused mindset with the ability to translate customer needs into actionable requirements.
